Grey Jensen

Grey is a photographer born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. Growing up in an area surrounded by mountains and deserts, he fell in love with nature and opportunities for outdoor recreation. He first picked up a camera in order to share the beauty of the natural world with those around him. His recent focus has been on merging his love for the environment with photography to use it as a form of activism. This includes documenting youth climate strikes, and the impacts of climate change on people and the environment. His work has been published in High Country News, Utah Sierran, and the cover of Save Our Canyons. His love for outdoor recreation, especially rock climbing, has led him to do work for USA Climbing and the Salt Lake Bouldering Project. He aims to uplift the voices of others through his images, and document connections between humans and nature.
